SQL Server 2005 Extended Support is Ending!

A new article has been posted to the TAM Retail blog by Ian Rigg:

On April 12, 2016, extended support will end for SQL Server 2005. This means that you’ll no longer get security updates, hotfixes, or professional support from Microsoft.

If you run SQL Server 2005 after the end of support, you could risk a data breach. Your operations and maintenance costs could rise and you may find yourself in violation of compliance, which could incur a fine.

Our recommendation is to migrate to SQL Server 2014 before extended support expires. If you would like to migrate to the newest version, contact your sales representative, call us at 888-843-1476, or email us at sales@tamretail.com.
