Question: How to enable Round-up Donation’s?
Answer: TAM allows the ability to collect different types of donations. This blog details how to enable a round –up Donation. Feature can be configured for both TAM Cash Register and TAM Dining for those licensed for Premier Pac.
First, create a Donation SKU in TAM Office – Inventory Management – SKU’s.
Make sure to specify the SKU Type as “Donation”.
Next, add the SKU to the register set up.
For TAM Cash Register open TAM Office – System Utilities – Point of Sale – Quick Donations

For TAM Dining open TAM Office – System Utilities – Point of Sale – Quick Donations

Once the window opens, select your donation method “Round-Up Sale” and then add your Donation SKU.

If you’re registers are in use, log out and close the application and then re-launch.
Once enabled, when Associates select “Tender Sale” this window will appear:

Default Donation amounts can be changed if needed. If not donation is given, Associates will have option to select “No Donation” to continue.
Donations collected will appear in Daily reporting within TAM Office.
